The fact that you have landed on my website means that you are curious. Curious about the world, curious about the future and curious about you and your communities.

Well, I have good news for you because in the history of human kind it has never been easier to learn something new!

"In the history of human kind it has never been

easier to learn something new"

"Concerned about money?"

Concerned about money? During the next holiday where you don't have anything to do - sign up for a free trial at sites that cost money and make the most of the free month they give you. In four weeks you can learn a lot! But don't worry most of my recommendations are free!

I know some of you are going to go straight to the things that you are familiar with. But I encourage you to also open your mind to novel topics. Many great ideas come from merging concepts from seemingly unrelated disciplines! The world is not compartmentalized - so go out and explore.

"Many great ideas come from merging concepts

I recently learned that Oxford has a range of educational podcasts online. Personally I am a big fan of NPR and ABC RN.

Particularly the TED radio hour, Hidden Brain, Invisibilia and Revisionist History are really worthwhile checking out.

For very skilled learners: try to listen to podcasts in a different language!

= free search engine for free courses (double free :)

This is a search engine (so it has more course areas than I could possibly list here) that allows you to browse free online courses from many different universities like MIT, Stanford or Harvard. Especially if you are looking for a specific skill you want to learn, this is a great tool to use. But I would recommend to check it out even if you just want to browse. I mean = it's free

= free...sort of.

I believe that you can access all courses for free but have to pay to get the certificate.

They do offer an amazing range of courses like maths, business, computer science, IT history, music etc but also things like:

Philosophy

Personal Development

Business (Entrepreneurship, Finance, Leadership...)

Governance and Society

My university actually gives me access to this and I did a course on online-animation which was pretty good. They mostly have skill-oriented courses like 3D animation, photography, video, web development, IT, Education and business. But if you are interested in design this may be a fun project for a holiday!

I know... Those still exist... I am such a nerd but I just wanted to remind you :)

Also: most libraries nowadays have online repositories where you can borrow ebooks or audiobooks!
